ABOUT US

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service: Many arrived home wounded or sick. There was no medical care or veterans' pension for them, and they were left to care for themselves.

VFW Post 1810 - Brentwood formed on October 20th, 1932. As we approach our Centennial Celebration we are as committed as ever to serving Veterans, Youth and the Community and providing Veterans, Auxiliary Members and Social Members with an open and non-judgmental avenue to seek assistance when needed and just as important, to providing an engaging and active environment to unwind among friends and have some fun.
